2:00 PM: Begin the climb to Nyabitaba Camp (2,651m).Accommodation: Hotel Selamat datang! Welcome to Malaysia. Your adventure begins with an important welcome meeting at 6 pm. If you have any free time beforehand, why not get out and explore this intriguing city that was born between the Borneo jungle and the South China Sea.

Day 2: Trek to Bigo Camp
6:00 AM: Enjoy a hearty breakfast before trekking to Bigo Camp (3,500m)

About this Hike
Hiking in Mount Moroto offers an exhilarating adventure through rugged landscapes, scenic valleys, and lush montane forests, reaching elevations of up to 3,083 meters. As you ascend, you’ll experience breathtaking panoramic views of the Karamoja region, encounter diverse wildlife and bird species, and engage with the Tepeth and Karimojong communities, who inhabit the slopes. Whether you’re tackling a short nature trail or a challenging multi-day trek, Mount Moroto provides a rewarding hiking experience with its mix of rocky terrains, waterfalls, and rich cultural heritage.
