About This Hike
Hiking at Sipi Falls is an exhilarating experience, offering breathtaking views, lush greenery, and the chance to explore three stunning waterfalls cascading from the foothills of Mount Elgon. The hike covers 7 to 10 km, with an elevation ranging from 1,775m to 2,000m above sea level, making it a moderately challenging but rewarding trek. Along the way, hikers traverse scenic coffee plantations, steep cliffs, and caves while enjoying panoramic views of the Karamoja plains. Expect to encounter cool mountain breezes, diverse bird species, and refreshing plunge pools—perfect for a rejuvenating dip after the hike.
